The ProActive Reminder has featured in the Journal of Assistive Technologies, Vol. 3, issue 2 Jun 2009. It is cited as a low cost device and found to be a practical way of providing reminders to all user groups. June 2009

The ProActive Reminder is being trialed in North West Wales NHS Trust by Head occupation therapist Jan Costa, in collaboration with Dr Kevin Doughty of CuHtec. March 2009

UK Intellectual Property Office has granted patent "Activity reminder Smart card" to Dr Kin F. Kam, who is the managing director of ProActiv eCard Ltd. The patent was granted on 17 September 2008, patent no. GB2426081. January 2009
